The Full Story
IT STARTED WITH A GOODBYE
In 2002, our family lost someone we loved to cancer.
We did what Jamaican families do when the room needs filling with something other than grief — we cooked. Big pots, long tables, plates for everyone who came through the door to remember him. It wasn't catering. It was love, dressed up as dinner.
But something happened in that room. People who came to mourn left talking about the food. Word spread. The next event asked us to cook. Then the next. Then the one after that.
A family tradition turned into a family business — one memorial at a time.

FROM BACKYARD POTS TO THE STREET
Years of catering weddings, birthdays, and street parties taught us something: Jamaican food doesn't just feed people — it gathers them. It's the reason cousins show up early and strangers become friends over a plate.
We wanted more people to feel that. So one of our founders had an idea that changed everything — what if we took the flavours we'd been perfecting for two decades and put them in the hands of the street food generation? Fast. Bold. No fork required.
Jerk chicken, rice and peas, callaloo, plantain, scotch bonnet heat — all of it, wrapped up and handed to you on the move.
That's the Jamaican Burrito. That's JamBuri.
MORE THAN FOOD — A GATHERING
We didn't come from a boardroom. We came from a memorial table that turned into a movement. So community isn't a marketing word for us — it's the whole reason we exist.
That's why JamBuri isn't just about what's in the wrap. It's the events. The parties. The pop-ups where the music's loud, the vibes are Jamaican, and everybody eats. Every JamBuri gathering carries a little bit of that first table we set back in 2002 — food that brings people together, no matter the reason they showed up.

WHERE WE'RE HEADED
What started as a family catering hustle is now a brand with one big goal: to become a household name. From cloud kitchens across the UK to a future on international streets, we're bringing the Caribbean to the fast-paced world of street food — one burrito, one event, one community at a time.
JamBuri. Jamaica, wrapped up and ready to move.
